9000 Watt of lights glow from behind a door, left slightly ajar. The sheer intensity of the light in the otherwise dark cellar makes it difficult to tell what exactly lies behind the door. The eyes of the viewer have to adjust to the brightness of the light. The work provokes an emotional and physical reaction in the viewer, reawakening an awareness of the surrounding space and of perception itself. At the same time it emphasizes the limits of our perception.
